Climate change is present in every corner of the planet, and in less than a generation, wildlife has been halved. The future will depend on what we do in the coming years. It is a challenge, but we have this opportunity, and we cannot let it slip away.
This is why we have decided to join efforts by providing resources to find solutions to the significant challenges facing the planet. It all adds up, with very little, we can do a lot.
We are delighted to be able to say that we are a WWF-friendly company since June 2020. We are a COMPANY FOR THE PLANET.
We're very excited to be part of the environmental advocacy projects of the world's largest environmental organization. It is an honour for us to be able to align ourselves with such a prestigious and experienced NGO.
The money we donate to the WWF helps directly to support:

We firmly believe that if we take care of our planet properly (it must be done, it is important), it will give us back great experiences to live.
Our commitment
Our role and that of many other companies are crucial: we are agents of change, capable of reversing the trend, changing market patterns and providing consumers with sustainable choices.
At Miss Wood, we love to travel, but that is nothing new. This passion for travelling the world makes us feel more responsible for the health of our planet.
Therefore, our mission as a company is to take care of it as much as we like to enjoy it.
We produce locally with sustainable materials.
Since we started our adventure, we have carried out local production in our workshop in Barcelona for 95% of our products. In addition to controlling the entire chain of production and quality, it allows us to have a positive impact on our environment.
We have always prioritized working with organic and sustainable materials for the planet such as wood, cork or cotton. Furthermore, it is no coincidence that most of our suppliers are located within a radius of no more than 1,000 km. (i.e. Spain and Portugal)
We reduce to 0 the plastic
We want to travel anywhere in the world with the peace of mind of not finding more plastic in the rivers, roads or seas. That's why, no matter how little impact our company has on the planet, our Production and Logistics team is working hard to eliminate single-use plastic from all our products in the short term.
It is known that plastic is a material that costs a lot to recycle and also takes between 100 and 1,000 years to decompose. In the future we do not want to design a map where there are islands of plastics and much less see how we destroy marine life, and the planet in general.
As Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, who had been the vice-president of the NGO, said: "Man will end when the vital balance of the planet that supports him ends. Man must love and respect the Earth as he loves and respects his own mother".
We support Slow Travel and Eco Travel.
In addition to reducing plastics and producing locally with sustainable materials, we bring to our community the best way to travel without creating a massive impact on the planet.
Through our communication channels, we show and give advice on how to travel with a smaller environmental footprint and accelerate the path to sustainability. We talk about places that are little or less touristy to visit, sites to avoid overcrowding, that can be discovered on foot or by bike, where to taste km0 products and we recommend accommodations that invest on sustainability. We prioritize travel enjoying the place and the moment, without thinking about time and fleeing from organized trips, noise and pollution generated by cities.
We have the power to change markets, reduce pollution and waste resources. With a grain of sand that each one of us contributes, we will manage to create a desert one day. That is why individual work is so important to help prevent the destruction of OUR WORLD.
